【摘要】:Ideally,interlaboratorytestingofamethodiscarriedoutbyarandomlychosengroupoflaboratoriesthattypifiesthekindoflaboratorythatislikelytousethemethod.Inactuality,thisidealisonlyapproximatedbythelaboratoriesthatareavailableandwillingtoundertakethetestwork.Thecoordinatoroftheprogrammustensurethateveryparticipatinglaboratoryhasappropriatefacilitiesandpersonnelandperformsthemethodexactlyaswritten.Ifthisgoalisachieved,thestatisticsdevelopedduringtheILSwillbeadequatefordeterminingifthemethodiscapableofproducingsatisfactoryprecisioninactualuse.Iftheprogramincludescertifiedreferencematerials,thetestdataalsoprovideinformationconcerningtheaccuracyofthemethod.Thestatisticsprovideageneralguidetotheexpectedperformanceofthemethodinthelaboratoriesofthosewhowilluseit.1.1Thispracticepresentsproceduresandstatisticsforaninterlaboratorystudy(ILS)oftheperformanceofananalyticalmethod.Thestudyprovidesstatisticalvalueswhichareusefulindeterminingifamethodissatisfactoryforthepurposesforwhichitwasdeveloped.Thesestatisticalvaluesmaybeincorporatedinthemethod''sprecisionandbiassection.Thispracticediscussesthemeaningofthestatisticsandwhatusersofanalyticalmethodsmaylearnfromthem.1.2Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
