【摘要】:WARNING—ThispartofISO14184callsfortheuseofsubstancesand/orproceduresthatmaybeinjurioustohealthifadequateprecautionsarenottaken.Itrefersonlytotechnicalsuitabilityanddoesnotabsolvetheuserfromlegalobligationsrelatingtohealthandsafetyatanystage.IthasbeenassumedinthedraftingofthispartofISO14184thattheexecutionofitsprovisionsisentrustedtoappropriatelyqualifiedandexperiencedpeople.ThispartofISO14184specifiesamethodfordeterminingtheamountoffreeformaldehydeandformaldehydeextractedpartlythroughhydrolysisbymeansofawaterextractionmethod.Themethodcanbeappliedtothetestingoftextilesamplesinanyform.Theprocedureisintendedforuseintherangeoffreeandhydrolysedformaldehydeonthefabricbetween16mg/kgand3500mg/kgwhendeterminedbythismethod.Thelowerlimitis16mg/kg.Belowthislimit,theresultisreportedas“notdetectable”.AmethodfordeterminationofreleasedformaldehydeisgiveninISO14184-2.
