【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversaphysicalevaluationofaninorganicsoilcontainingalimitedamountoforganicmaterial,relativetoitsuseasatopsoilforhorticulturalpurposesinconstruction.Forclassification,afullagriculturaltexturalclassificationmaybeused.1.2ThepresenceinthesoilofthecorrectnutrientsandpHstatusisnecessaryforhealthyplantgrowth.Thisspecificationdoesnot,however,coveradeterminationofthenutrients,northeiravailability.Note1-Thenutrientcontentoftopsoilisimportantandthenutrientsusuallyevaluatedarenitrogen,phosphate,andpotassium.Nutrientdeficienciesmaybecorrectedusingorganicorinorganicfertilizers.Excesssolublesaltsshouldbeexaminedastotheirdesirability.Theacidityoralkalinityofthesoilisalsoimportant.Excessaciditymaybecorrectedbytheapplicationoflime.Excessalkalinitymaybecorrectedbytheapplicationofsulfurorothersuitableacidifyingcompounds.Thelatteritem,inadditiontoloweringpH,alsocouldbeconsideredasanaggregatewhenconsideringtheparticlesizedistribution.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
